Where is the real England?

Yes, I am going to talk about football again.......
What I saw yesterday was poor, you would've thought after 4 games without a win, the players will really want to win this one.
Israel, not an hard team to beat with the quality England's got
And yet, they fail, they fail to spark themselves off, they fail to even play football.
However, I am not blaming the players, because if you watch the premiership, they play really good football week in, week out. We know they have the ability to play good football. So, why are the not delivering?

I think this is down to the manager, managing a national team is very different from a club team. This is because the players are not always together to train, you don't have the time that club football may have to get your team together. You may only have two days and the off you go, you are playing before you know it. That is why it is much harder to manage a national team then a club team.

Going back to McClaren, he is a good manager, he had done a good job at Middlesbrough, however, not an excellent job. OK, He got them to the UEFA cup final, but how many times has he done that?? ONCE!! Whereas you look at Alex Ferguson and Wenger, he had won the premiership a million times. So actually, you can see his quality is not up to the standard. I think there is another reason that he is not at big clubs such as Man Utd and Arsenal is he is not brave and strong enough for these top class players. What is the diffrent between Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho and McClaren? The top managers in the premiership make brave decisions, they are strong enough to drop players like Henry, van Nistelrooy and Shevchenko when they are not preforming. One of Wenger's motivating speech is "If you can't do the job, I will get someone who can to do it!!" McClaren is just not doing that. Another thing is, because he is not dropping these star players, everyone is playing out of position. Gerrard, a center midfield, is playing as a right midfield. Lennon, a right wing is playing as a left wing. The worst one still, Carragher, a central defender, playing as a left back?! Where does that come from?!

This star players strategy is clearly not working, and either put out a team that will play football or please, FA, sack him for the good of England.
